THE Vice-Chancellor of the Lagos State University, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello has addressed the students of the institution as examinations commenced today Monday, August 19, 2024.

In her message to the students, Prof. Olatunji-Bello said: “My dear world-class students, your second-semester examinations for the 2023/2024 Academic Session commences today, Monday, 19th August 2024. The examinations culminate your academic journey in the semester over the last few weeks. I congratulate you for coming this far.

“As I always say, examinations are not an unavoidable evil that you must endure. Rather, they are essential milestones in your academic journey—stepping stones that help you progress toward your goal of becoming graduates of this great university.  They also provide an opportunity to showcase what you have learnt so far, demonstrate your abilities, and challenge yourself to grow. 215d

“I, therefore, encourage you to approach your examinations with determination, confidence, and an open mind. Understand that they are a part of the learning process, and with the right mindset, you can not only succeed but also learn and improve from the experience.
