Oni Buraimoh-produced 'Madam Lecturer' premieres in LASU

THE much-anticipated drama series Madam Lecturer will officially premiere on October 24, 2024, with an exclusive event at LASU Staff Club, Lagos. The series, produced by renowned lecturer and Founder of the Women and Girls Empowerment Foundation International (WOGEFI), Dr Olawunmi Oni Buraimoh, portrays the realities of academic life, showing an unfiltered look into student and lecturer experiences.                                          

Set in the vibrant academic environment of Lagos State University (LASU), Madam Lecturer stars students and lecturers from the institution to dish education, morals, and entertainment. The series will explore the complexities of campus life, from academic pressures to personal challenges and the dynamics between students and lecturers.        

The premiere will take place by  2 p.m. on October 24, with a red carpet event at 1 p.m. at LASU Staff Club, within the school premises. While the premiere event is strictly by invitation, viewers across the globe can tune in to the live streaming of the movie on the Women’s World Channel on YouTube.

Each episode will not only engage viewers with its plot but will also be followed by insightful discussions. These discussions will offer audiences an opportunity to discuss the themes and issues presented in the series, for further educational and social impact.

As the founder of WOGEFI and the host of Women’s World, Dr Buraimoh aims to bring to the forefront the shared experiences of students and lecturers, shedding light on real-life issues while promoting an inclusive dialogue around education and campus life.
