THE Department of Political Science at Lagos State University is set to hold its monthly lecture series, the June Edition, on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. This event promises to be an insightful discussion on the theme "Taming the Leviathan: Between Authoritarianism and 'Reason of State".

Prof Sylvester Odion Akhaine, a renowned scholar, will deliver the lecture. His expertise in political science will undoubtedly provide valuable insights into the topic. The event will be hosted by the Vice-Chancellor of LASU, Prof. Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, and the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Olufemi Lawal.

The seminar will be held at the Abubakar Momoh Moot Parliament, Faculty of Social Sciences, LASU Main Campus, Ojo, at 11:00 a.m. Dr. Paul-Sewa Thovoethin will moderate the event, ensuring a thought-provoking and engaging discussion.
