Under the terms of the agreement, the two institutions will jointly create and design the theme concepts for the series, promote and market the project, source sponsorship, conduct the necessary research for content development, and serve as executive producers.

In her remarks, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Olatunji-Bello expressed excitement about the collaboration, noting that there is currently no campus-based TV series telling the stories of Nigerian youth in tertiary institutions. She believes "Becoming Us" will help fill that gap.

Mr Uduma, the SMAT Media Productions Boss, said his company is fully invested in the project and optimistic about its prospects. He anticipates the series will greatly appeal to young people within LASU and beyond.
