WITH the commencement of the second-semester examination of Lagos State University (LASU) on Monday, August 19, 2024, the University Management has actively engaged in a comprehensive oversight function and monitoring exercise to ensure the smooth conduct of the ongoing examination.
The team, led by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Prof. Adenike Boyo on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, was accompanied by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics) and the Director, Directorate of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), Prof. Toyin Enikuomehin to conduct an oversight visit to various examination centres, which include the Aderemi Makanjuola Lecture Theatre.
Particularly, the Team had a long stay at the 3- 3-in-1 building, Faculty of Education to assess the situation on the ground and left satisfactorily with the logistics and smooth running of the examination as the students conducted themselves in an orderly manner.
This oversight is part of the University's commitment to upholding academic integrity and ensuring a conducive student environment during the examination period.
Acting Dean of Students' Affairs, Dr Abiodun Fatai-Abatan, Special Assistant to the Vice-chancellor, Dr Lateef Salami, members of the Vice-Chancellor's office and the Centre for Information and Public Relations were also part of the monitoring and oversight function.
