TEN graduates of the Faculty of Law at the Lagos State University, Ojo, have made First Class honours in the recently released Nigerian Law School Bar final examination results.
These results have again put the Faculty and the University in the limelight of academic prowess and ingenuity.
An official release from the institution listed the world-class students as Akinmusire Sina Victor, Owolabi Yusuf Olatunji, Badmus Sulaimon Ayodele, Oyede Mariam Adejumoke, and Afolabi Aderonke Salmat.
Others include Lawal Adebisi Bilqees, Haastrup Adetumbi Wuraola, Fagbolade Ewaoluwa Blessing, Ogungbo Azeezat Toluwalase, and Taiwo Kanyinsola Abiodun.
The number, which is the highest attained so far in a single academic year in the history of the Faculty of Law, LASU, has expectedly elicited excitement from the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello.
While celebrating the feat, the elated Vice-Chancellor congratulated the Dean, Prof. Olatoye and the entire faculty.
“This result is an evidence of the dedication and diligence of all staff. I am so proud of you all. Congratulations!” she said.
The achievement has, once again, strengthened the position of the LASU Law programme as the flagship academic programme in the University and the Faculty of choice for prospective law students in Nigeria.
Meanwhile, recall that the Faculty of Law also produced the Best Graduating Student, Aminat Yusuf, with the highest CGPA (5.0) in the history of the University at the 26th convocation ceremonies held in June of 2023.
