NAEAP, PUEA set to hold conference in Kenya

The conference will be held in a hybrid format, allowing in-person and virtual participation, to ensure wide accessibility and engagement from across the continent and beyond.

NIGERIAN Association for Educational Administration and Planning (NAEAP), LASU Branch, Lagos Chapter, in collaboration with the Presbyterian University of East Africa (PUEA), is set to hold a four-day international conference in Nairobi, Kenya from Tuesday, June 4 to Friday, June 7, 2024.

The conference, themed "ICT, Educational Management and Planning in the Digital Age in Africa", will bring together educational administrators, policymakers, and experts from across the continent to discuss the role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in transforming educational management and planning in Africa.

The event will feature a lineup of distinguished speakers, including Dr Onoriode Potokri, a Senior Lecturer and Visiting Professor/Scholar at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa and Barry University in Miami, USA, who will deliver the keynote address. 

Additional lead papers will be presented by Prof. Bolanle Ola from Darlinds Down Health and Services in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, and Prof. Wangari Mwai, the Vice Chancellor of PUEA.

"This conference provides a crucial platform for stakeholders in the education sector to come together and explore the ways in which ICT can be leveraged to enhance educational management and planning in Africa," said Prof. M. O. B. Mohammed, the Coordinator of the NAEAP, LASU Branch and the event's announcer.
