THE Lagos State University Students' Union (LASUSU), led by Comrade Haroun Tobun and his executive members, came together to celebrate the 60th birthday of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM on Sunday, April 28, 2024. The celebration was held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Lekki, Lagos State.
The presence of the Students' Union executive members showcased the strong bond between the Vice-Chancellor and the student body, emphasising their joint efforts to advance the University's mission, promote academic excellence, and enhance the overall student experience.

Comrade Haroun Tobun, the President of the Students' Union, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate the Vice-Chancellor's milestone birthday. During the celebration, the Vice-Chancellor expressed her appreciation for the heartfelt gesture from the Students' Union. Also, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr Obafemi Hamzat and the Dean of Students' Affairs, Dr Surajudeen Fatai graced the occasion to celebrate with the Vice-Chancellor.
