NIGERIAN music sensation, Wizkid has spoken about his latest single, "Piece Of My Heart," featuring American R&B star Brent Faiyaz.
The track, set to release on September 20, 2024, marks the beginning of the "Morayo" era, which is Wizkid's sixth studio album.
"I hope it lifts spirits and spreads positive energy," Wizkid said about his upcoming album, named after his late mother.
He described "Morayo" as "very, very personal" during an appearance at the Louis Vuitton show led by Pharrell Williams.
"Piece Of My Heart" blends Caribbean, R&B, Afro-Pop, and Dancehall elements, generating buzz among fans. This release follows Wizkid's guest appearances on DJ Tunez's "Apala Disco" remix and Shenseea's "Work Me Out" earlier this year.
As Wizkid celebrates the 10th anniversary of his sophomore album "Ayo," fans praise the iconic album's impact on globalising Nigerian music. With "Morayo" touted as his best work yet, anticipation builds.
