DURING an interview at the Afroland festival's Adesope live segment, Nigerian singer, Victony shared his remarkable journey of recovery from a devastating car accident.
Host Adesope expressed amazement at Victony's transformation, saying, "I was recording you when you were on stage, dancing the legwork... You went from almost not walking to being so free and doing what you're doing on stage. Do you think about being blessed like that?"
Victony, still in the recovery phase, revealed the extent of his medical journey, saying, "Honestly, I am blessed and the whole world can see that I'm blessed. I'm still in the recovery phase but I'm still able to do this now; I'm about to go on tour."
He expressed gratitude, acknowledging the challenges he faced, including four surgeries, with another one scheduled after the tour.
Victony humbly attributed his recovery to divine grace, saying, "I feel blessed and I thank God for his grace; it's not by power. I'm not his favourite child, so I don't know why he's blessing me."
He shared his experiences of taking pain relievers before performances and recording sessions.
