REALITY TV star, Tolani Baj recently shared her thoughts on being an independent woman while still embracing her feminine side in a relationship.
Speaking with Clout Radio, she revealed that when she's with someone, she tends to become more submissive and let her partner take the lead.
"When I don't have a guy in my life right, I'm in my masculine energy. I do everything with or without a man. But when I do have a man in my life, I let him take the lead and I have to constantly remember that 'baby girl, relax in your feminine energy, you don't have to be too forward,'" she explained.
Tolani Baj emphasised that she allows her partner to handle tasks that she would normally handle herself, even if it means pretending to be a "damsel in distress."
"Even if I know how to do something, I'd still pretend and be like 'Hey babe, how do you do that?' when deeply I can do it," she said with a laugh. She admitted that she's willing to learn new skills, like changing a tire, if necessary.
Despite her willingness to embrace her feminine side, Tolani Baj asserted that she can still be independent and step into a leadership role when necessary.
"But if they're not in my life and I have to be independent, I will step into that role like a boss," she said. Her comments sparked a conversation about gender roles and relationships, with many applauding her honesty and vulnerability.
