NIGERIAN songstress, Simisola Kosoko, popularly known as Simi, has made a surprising revelation about her music listening habits.
On the "Zero Conditions" podcast, Simi stated that she only listens to her husband, Adekunle Gold's music, and no one else's. When asked about her favourite artists, she mentioned Post Malone's first album "Beerbongs & Bentleys" and J.Cole, but emphasised that she doesn't actively listen to their music.
Simi explained that her reason for only listening to her husband's music is because they are married. She said, "I don't listen to anybody's music, the reason I listen to my husband's songs is because I'm married to him." This revelation has sparked interest among fans and industry insiders, as it is unusual for an artist to not listen to other artists' music.
Simi also mentioned that she only listens to her album because it recently came out, and she expects her listening habits to change in a few weeks. She stated, "I don't really listen to anybody's music. The reason I'm listening to my album now is because it just came out. In a few weeks, I probably won't listen to it as much as I do now."
