A Magistrate Court in the Yaba area of Lagos State has granted music industry figures, Balogun Eletu (Sam Larry) and Azeez Fashola (Naira Marley) bail of 20 million naira with a provision of three sureties.
According to media reports, as part of their bail conditions, the Court asked them to surrender their international passports and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti.
Adding a warning, the magistrate overseeing the case, Adeola Olatunbosun, sternly cautioned that any attempts to contact her directly would be recorded and potentially disclosed in open court proceedings.
Recall that the duo was arrested on their return to Nigeria after they were linked to the death of the late Mohbad when videos on social media had shown Sam Larry physically assaulting the late Mobad, while other videos showed boys suspected to be under the orders of Naira Marley attacking the late rapper.
