The Nigeria Police Force has announced the arrest of the son of ailing actor, John Okafor, aka Mr Ibu and his adopted daughter, Jasmine, over N300 million donations meant for the actor.
According to reports, the duo withdrew the amount out of the donations account meant for the actor. It was made known that they had been detained at Alagbon police station.
Also, it was stated that the actor’s wife allegedly planned to buy herself a new house with the money before the son and adopted daughter outsmarted her.
Recall that there have been several crises within Ibu’s family following the donations received from the actor’s well-wishers. He cried out some months back about his illness and received massive support from Nigerians, which led to the amputation of his leg to keep him alive.
Meanwhile, Mr Ibu’s wife and his adopted daughter, Jasmine, have been dragging each other online and laying several accusations against themselves since the actor got ill.
