THE lawyer of controversial music artiste, Azeez Adeshina Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, Olalekan Ojo, has said that his client is innocent in the case involving his former signee, late Mohbad, adding that despite the efforts of the police and the public, no accusation can be pinned on his client.
The lawyer stated this during a live session with media personality, Daddy Freeze, where he expressed confidence in Naira Marley’s innocence.
In his words: “As for Naira Marley, I believe very strongly that no matter how hard you look, you will not find a single incident where Naira Marley bullied him (Mohbad).”
However, the Lagos State Police Commissioner, CP Idowu Owohunwa, during a press briefing in Lagos on Friday, said there are several pieces of evidence linking Naira Marley and Sam Larry with cyberbullying, physical abuse, a threat to life, and assault against late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba also known as Mohbad.
Recall that Mohbad died in September under questionable circumstances, with videos of the singer being bullied and assaulted resurfacing after his demise.
His former label boss, Naira Marley (Abdulazeez Fashola), and his associate, Sam Larry (Samson Balogun), have been fingered for being accomplices.
