ADA Ehi has issued a strong warning to Christians regarding their participation in Halloween celebrations, urging them to consider the spiritual implications of such activities.
In a post shared on her Instagram account, Ada questioned the motivations behind Christians partaking in Halloween festivities, emphasising the potential consequences for their faith.
She referenced biblical passages to support her concerns, particularly Revelation 3:16 and 1 Corinthians 10:21. "Dear Christian, when you participate in Halloween, what exactly are you celebrating?" she asked, highlighting the spiritual conflict involved in engaging in practices linked to darkness.
The singer warned that such participation could lead to a "lukewarm" faith, quoting Revelation 3:16 (NKJV): "So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of my mouth." Ada further reinforced her point by referencing 1 Corinthians 10:21 (NKJV), which cautions against the conflicting nature of worshipping God while engaging in practices associated with demons.
“You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s Table and the table of demons,” she noted, underscoring the incompatibility of serving God and partaking in celebrations like Halloween.
In the post, Ada encouraged Christians to carefully examine their participation in Halloween, urging them to remain steadfast in their faith and avoid practices that might compromise their spiritual integrity.
