The actress clarified that her connection with Aderounmu was purely professional, highlighting that she didn't have a personal relationship with her beyond work. Akindele recalled, "She acted her role. Got paid and left."
The unfolding events included Aderounmu's brother, Adeola Aderounmu, indicating on Instagram that their family attempted to reach out to Akindele for help without success. Adeola expressed his frustration, questioning why assistance wasn't provided despite efforts made.
