NIGERIAN content creator and actress, Amarachi Okoh, known as Marahchi or Ada Igbo Nile, has voiced her strong opposition to the promotion of sexual content within the entertainment industry.

In a recent interview with Potpourri, she explained her stance, revealing that while she actively screens songs for promotion, she would not support or endorse any music or brand related to sexual enhancement.

"If it’s a sex-related song, I won’t promote it. There are other creators who would do that; everyone has their style. I cannot endorse a sex enhancement brand," she stated. screenshot_20241007_200531

The actress, who hails from Enugu and grew up in Oba, Anambra, shared her experiences as a dark-skinned actress in Nollywood, insisting that her skin colour has not affected the roles she is offered.

"Being a dark-skinned girl, I don’t think my complexion influences the roles they give me," she said. "I feel it’s all about the talent," Marahchi emphasized that her success is rooted in her skills, rather than her appearance.screenshot_20241007_200535

Marahchi also addressed her boundaries regarding intimate scenes in films. "I haven’t kissed in a movie yet, and I don’t think I can," she confessed. "It’s because of my personality and the kind of family I come from."

This statement highlights her commitment to upholding her values and principles in the face of an industry that often pushes boundaries.
