NIGERIAN artist, Portable has reached out to embattled crossdresser Bobrisky, urging him to reconsider his actions and "repent from his sinful ways."
Portable's plea comes as Bobrisky faces ongoing legal and personal challenges.
Recently released from prison on August 5, Bobrisky now faces additional allegations, including bribery claims. Social media influencer Martin Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, shared an audio recording allegedly capturing Bobrisky claiming to have bribed EFCC officials with ₦15 million.
Bobrisky has denied these allegations, labelling the audio "fake" and stating, "I served my term in prison."
Meanwhile, the EFCC has summoned Bobrisky and Otse for questioning, with Chairman, Ola Olukoyede initiating a comprehensive investigation. The Nigerian Government has also suspended two Nigerian Correctional Service officers implicated in the controversy.
Rapper Falz has corroborated part of Otse's allegations, claiming Bobrisky solicited ₦3 million for preferential treatment while incarcerated.
Amid these challenges, Bobrisky has expressed suicidal thoughts, seeking understanding rather than sympathy. Portable responded, advising Bobrisky against suicidal thoughts and encouraging repentance and divine forgiveness. Portable stated, "Bobrisky, life is risky. God does not want sinners to die. Tell him to repent... Beg God to forgive you."
Portable emphasised the importance of seeking forgiveness, saying, "All Bobrisky needs is to ask God for forgiveness of sin. If he repents, he will enjoy the world. But if he does not repent."
